My sunrise adventures take me to some beautiful places. This is Ocean View Pier in Norfolk, VA. I captured the sun peeking around the peer in this shot and just love it. The effect from the long exposure gives the sun a burst and the water a soft look.
Professional Adventurer with a Lens! Although I always had an interest in photography, I did not put serious effort and study into it, until I was living in Sicily, Italy and lived in an apartment overlooking incredible views from my wrap-around balcony. Each day I would wake up to breathtaking sunrises and started snapping away. Eventually I upgraded my point-and-shoot to a DSLR in 2015 and took my art to a new level. I began studying night photography and long-exposure photography. Eventually I started a Facebook Page and Instagram account entitled Larkin's Balcony Photography, since that is where it all began.
